Cahaya Kemala Rifan

Our project, Cookies for Hope, is a fundraising project done by selling goods, in particular, various sets of assorted snacks and cookies. And, it will be donated to a local charity, Yayasan Pulih, to victims of sexual harassment. It is our way to support the campaign. Our intended target audiences are the general public. For the Spring greeting, we just want to make something new and special so people can feel warm inside like the spring season. Ramadhan is also done so that our customers can send and share with their friends and families some sweet cookies for one another during the season, especially during this pandemic when they can’t meet each other. These actions are done by promoting it to both inside and outside of the Sekolah Victory Plus community.

My goal on doing this project is to help victims of sexual harassment by providing them with enough amount of money for their medication. This is because the pandemic still goes on, and helping the victims directly will just add more risk to their physical health.

Answer the questions

Description

1. How do you achieve this experience learning outcomes in this stage today?

What we did today in order to demonstrate how to initiate and plan our first sale, for the art group, is to discuss which members will do which. I was first assigned to join the card group. However, card design is not as crucial or influential or important as a poster design, I was moved to the poster team.

2. What was important or influential in this experience today?

Assigning the member to do something is quite influential for a successful event. This is because without it there might be a possibility of only some or not entirely the member contributes to the job.

3. What is the memorable moment in this experience? What went well or was difficult today?

Everything went well on assigning the member on which members will do which. The difficulty of this experience was to invite the assigned member to do the job since this was done during the holiday. So, there are some people that have to excuse themselves due to a family matter.

Expressing Feeling

1. How do you feel when you are doing your experience today? Where do you think this emotional response comes from?

I did not feel anything with today’s experience since the task is not that exhausting nor challenging.

Generating idea and asking question

1. What does this experience mean to you?

This experience makes me realize that assigning the members of the group to doa a certain work is helpful to get the work done. However, it doesn’t mean that it’ll help to improve the overall quality of the work if it was only done by that specific members. Therefore, what’s important is not the assigning of tasks, rather it’s the overall contribution of the members of the team, even though you’re not assigned to do the job.

2. How do you think your experience today contributes to the development of your IB Learner Profile attributes?

Even though today’s experience is important to for a successful event, I don’t think that it is enough to contribute to the development of your IB Learner Profile attributes. This is because I did not participate that much in assigning the members.
